Crist
Home Town: Lowell, MA
Organization Served: Pathfinder/Milestone and the
Lowell Transitional Living Center (LTLC)
Accomplishments: David works on the computer recycling
program at Pathfinder/Milestone using donated computers and hardware
components to construct rebuilt machines for individual use. He
also teaches classes and monitors the computer lab.
Name: Kourtney
Hamilton
Home Town: Beaverton, OR
Organization Served: Lowell Telecommunications Corporation
and Lowell Community Technology Consortium
Accomplishments: Kourtney currently works at LTC
as the Public Information Officer for the Consortium. Plans include
creating press releases to local newspapers, items of interest
to be posted on the Consortium's web site, and a newsletter intended
to unite and give support to the Consortium's member organizations
and their participants.
Name: Rickie Jackson
Home Town: Los Angeles, CA
Organization Served: Recruitment Resources Consulting
(3 labs)
Accomplishments: Currently, Rickie is responsible
for providing technical and managerial support at RRC (Resource
Recruitment Consulting). His participation spans three programs:
PowerUP After-School Program, Public Access, and Workgroup Development
Programming. Two RRC locations simultaneously operate each program
on a daily basis, which requires a bit of technical/managerial
cloning on Rickie's part.
Name: Terence
Kennedy
Home Town: Lowell, MA
Organization Served: Pathfinders/Milestone and the
Lowell Transitional Living Center (LTLC)
Accomplishments: Terence helps with the computer
recycling program and lab monitoring at LTLC. He will continue
John Hunt and Ray Riopelle's work with lab usage statistics and
use his systems administration skills to give the labs technical
support.
Name: Kevin Loechner
Home Town: Shreveport, LA
Organization Served: New Beginnings
Accomplishments: Kevin is using his strong background
in technology to aid the computer lab at New Beginnings. He monitors
the lab and teaches technology courses. He will also be assisting
with the Lowell, MA web-based community resource guide currently
being developed at New Beginnings.
Name: Dan
MacNeil
Home Town: Lowell, MA (Via NJ, NY, England, MT,
CO, PA, GA)
Organization Served: Lowell Telecommunications Corporation
and Lowell Community Technology Consortium
Accomplishments: Dan currently continues his work
for the Consortium at the University of Massachusetts/Lowell.
He recruits and manages the volunteers who participate in the
Consortium's web crew, develops volunteer and staff recruitment
protocol, and teaches MSCE courses with the end result of producing
MSCE certified volunteers for the Consortium.
