Friendsby Phalla YunIn our world we can't live without friends. Everybody has friends, but some people have many, and others have few. If we don't have friends, we can't do a good job. Nobody lives alone forever. For example, when we go to school, we have friends to study and gather with in the classroom. When we go to work, we have friends to help us do the things we can't do alone. But there are many kinds of kinds of friends. Some Friends are not good. When we have difficulty or troubles with anything, a good friend always helps us and gives the way to settle the problem. Friends do everything that we need. They can tell us what is wrong, and can decide whether it is good or bad. They give advice and talk with us, to find a good way. They do not just talk; they do what they can. A bad friend can cause a lot of trouble. Sometimes they can bring us to jail and sometimes they can bring us sadness. They always say bad things behind our backs and are jealous. They aren't happy to see that we have more things than they have. So, when we want to relax with other people, our friends, we should watch, as a guide, whether the people really like us or not. We also think, as a guide, "What do they like to do?" If they do the same thinds we do, that is good. That means those people have the same ideas we do, and so we can do anything together and be happy, and when they talk to us, we like them. When we need help we ask them to help and they can help. They can pay attention to our work without complaining about anything. So they can be good friends for us. Right now I think I have a lot of good friends, like Amy - the best teacher I have ever met. Because she helps me a lot to speak and listen to English. She makes me happy and and laughing all of the time. She always tries to give the good way to speak, write, and listen. I also approve of her, because she has talent to teach English. I'm very pleased to have good friends like her. I think all the students think that she is a good teacher.
